ManOwaR

If you looking for a band that plays Heavy Metal,
then your first choice must be this band.
 
Here is a little story from me, one very personal reason for me
to love this band.
 
Years ago, I was skating on ice, I meet a man,
Ronny was his name. We saw each other often while we
were skating. We talked about this and about that.
Like always, when you are with a group of people,
having fun, laughing, skating, trying out new tricks
on the ice, and stuff like that.
You know the people from here, but you do not know them very well.
Some day he asked me: What kind of musik do you like ?
I ansewered: Well, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and stuff like this.
He almost screamed: Hey, you like Heavy Metal, that is good.
Then he asked me if I knew Manowar.
I told him that I heard of them, and that I own a tape of them.
That was the beginning of a friendship like I never knew before,
and like I never had one again.
He showed me all LPs of Manowar, that were out at this
time, and what do you think, I did love it.
I started to buy myself all LPs later CDs one after another.
This man and I are still best friends, and it should stay like
this until we die.

Well, this was a little story, but a true story, if you take a look

Now about Manowar, what is it, what makes a band like this so great ?
Have you ever seen Manowar in concert ?
If not, you should !!! I have seen several bands live, but no one
mastered the stage like Manowar. No, it is not the show, not some pyroeffects,
no stupid dancing or stuff like that. It is the musik, it is powerful, loud, driving.
It is the unity of the people who are there, they not only want to hear them playing,
they want to feel the musik, they are part of the might, the power, that is in that hall.
When Joey DeMaio stands there, up on the stage, and tells the crowd a story, talks
to them, it feels like there is electricity in the air, it is like magic, the feeling to be brother
and sister whit everyone in this hall.
The musik, the lyrics, the style they are performing on stage, it is hard to describe.
No band ever did give me that feelings, and I think no band ever will.
Well, now I won't bother you any further with my personal feelings.
